Description: SOLD

This is a magnificent Renaissance style Cabinet from the middle part of the 19th century. This impressive piece is made from solid and lovely patinaed oak and consists of two sections with step-back facade boasting an intricate embellishment. The upper frieze of the top section is accented with a lion's face in between scrolled acanthus patterns and stands majestically above the original gadrooned glass door. The trophies seem to be partridges. A spacious storage area with single shelf is provided behind the door. Note the elegant barley twisted columns flanking this fantastic cabinet. Locks are in working condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa date 1850-1860. Dimensions 85"high/ 35"wide/ 22"deep.
