19th Century Antique French Louis XVI Style Gueridon Table

This is a very decorative gueridon, directly inspired of the Louis XVI era, made during the second half of the 19th century. This pretty piece is topped by an inset green Campan marble originally coming from the commune of Campan in the Hautes Pyreneese in southwestern France. This elegant table features a lovely embellishment, typical of the Louis XVI style, from the beads trimming the marble to the twisted ribbon and acanthus patterns highlighting the belt and cabriole legs. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa date 1870-1880. Dimensions 29"high/ 31"wide/ 23"deep.
