This is an elegantly simple Parisian Louis XV/Louis XVI style rosewood cabinet made at the beginning of the 20th century. It is topped by its original Montjoi marble coming from the region of Aude in south-central France. The straight facade is featuring a large single above a quarter-veneered pair of doors standing on short cabriole legs with foliate-cast sabots. The interior compartment is spacious and provides a single shelf. Locks are in working order. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1900-1910. Dimensions 43"high/ 40½"wide/ 18½"deep.
