This is a beautiful French Buffet made from solid and exquisitely patinaed oak during the reign of Napoleon III by the middle part of the 19th century. This lovely piece is originally coming from Provence in the south of France. It consists of a rectangular crossbow-shaped top sitting upon a stunning and intricately embellished facade, highlighted with floral patterns and standing on a serpentine-shaped apron supported by a pair of nicely scrolled cabriole legs on escargot feet. This buffet also offers a great storage capacity thanks to a pair of drawers mounted with large handles and a pair of arched recessed paneled doors revealing a spacious compartment with single shelf.
