This item is boasting an intricate embellished from the fluted shaft to its octagonal base highlighted with acanthus patterns, Moorish arches and other geometrical motifs. This is a beautiful and massive pair of triple paneled cabinet doors made from solid pine during the Louis XV period by the middle part of the 18th century. This pair was purchased from a small mansion and was originally covering a couple of in-wall cabinets commonly called Garde-manger, which were used to store food.
